Ahead of the November 8th UK opening of Lazarus<\/em> at London\u2019s Kings Cross Theatre, the cast and band of the original New York production are to release their versions of the David Bowie<\/a> songs from the show.<\/p>\n

The Lazarus Cast Album<\/em> will be released on October 21st. Pre-orders will be available from September 16th,\u00a0with all orders receiving instant downloads of the cast versions of Life On Mars?<\/em> (sung by Sophia Anne Caruso) and the title track (sung by Michael C. Hall).<\/p>\n

Standing alongside the cast\u2019s interpretations of classics are the three final David Bowie studio recordings. Co-produced by Bowie and Tony Visconti and recorded with Donny McCaslin and his quartet, the same band that played on Bowie\u2019s \u2605 album, these last three songs \u2014No Plan<\/em>, Killing a Little Time<\/em>, When I Met You<\/em> bring completely new dimensions to their cast counterparts. The original \u2605 version of Lazarus<\/em> is also included on the cast album.<\/p>\n

The \u2605 album has been shortlisted for the 2016 Mercury Prize, and as part of the awards ceremony on 15th September Michael C. Hall will be performing the song Lazarus<\/em> with Henry Hey and the Lazarus house band. The show will be broadcast live from the Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith on BBC 4 and BBC Radio 6 Music.<\/p>\n

of the original New York production are to release their versions of the David Bowie songs from the show.  The \u2018Lazarus Cast Album\u2019 will be released on October 21st. Pre-orders will be available from September 16th, with all orders receiving instant downloads of the cast versions of \u2018Life On Mars?\u2019 (sung by Sophia Anne Caruso) and the title track (sung by Michael C. Hall). Standing alongside the cast\u2019s interpretations of classics are the three final David Bowie studio recordings. Co-produced by Bowie and Tony Visconti and recorded with Donny McCaslin and his quartet, the same band that played on Bowie\u2019s \u2018\u2605\u2019 album, these last three songs \u2014\u2018No Plan\u2019, \u2018Killing A Little Time\u2019, \u2018When I Met You\u2019 bring completely new dimensions to their cast counterparts. The original \u2018\u2605\u2019 version of \u2018Lazarus\u2019 is also included on the cast album. The \u2018\u2605\u2019 album has been shortlisted for the 2016 Mercury Prize, and as part of the awards ceremony on 15th September Michael C. Hall will be performing the song \u2018Lazarus\u2019 with Henry Hey and the Lazarus house band. The show will be broadcast live from the Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith on BBC 4 and BBC Radio 6 Music.
