At one minute past midnight on January 8th, the day that would have been David Bowie\u2019s<\/a> 70th birthday, a subtly stunning video for the song No Plan<\/i> appeared online. Directed by Tom Hingston and featuring a sparse, compelling narrative, the video amassed over 500,000 views in its first 24 hours.<\/p>\n

At the same time an EP entitled No Plan<\/em> was released on ISO\/Columbia, featuring the songs No Plan,<\/em> Killing a Little Time<\/em> and When I Met You.<\/em> Recorded during the sessions for David Bowie’s 28th and final album, \u2605, these final Bowie studio recordings were previously available only with full album purchase of the
Lazarus Cast Album<\/em>. The EP also features Lazarus<\/em>, \u2605 single and title track of the Cast Album<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The No Plan<\/em> EP shot to number 1 on the iTunes chart in 11 countries including the UK, Netherlands, Denmark, Ireland, Norway, Finland and Sweden, and broke the Top 20 in more than 30 territories.<\/p>\n

January 8th, 2017 also marked the one-year anniversary of the release of \u2605. Having hit number 1 in more than 20 countries (including Bowie’s first number 1 in the U.S.), \u2605 received five Grammy nominations \u2013 Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song, Best Alternative Music Album, Best Recording Package, and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical \u2013 and topped many critics’ best of 2016 lists, including MOJO, Q and Uncut.<\/p>\n
