After a hugely successful year, George Ezra<\/a> has been announced as Music Week\u2019s Artist of the Year 2018.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

George\u2019s second album Staying at Tamara’s<\/em> was released by Columbia Records and is the best-selling artist album of the year.\u00a0<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

George has also had two hit singles from the album, with \u2018Paradise\u2019 and the chart-topping \u2018Shotgun\u2019, both of which have exceeded one million sales.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year George has headlined the Boardmasters and Standon Calling festivals and played a sold-out UK tour. He sets out on his first arena headline run in March, including two nights at London\u2019s iconic The O2.\u00a0<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It has been perfect,” Ezra told Music Week. “What\u2019s been really enjoyable is that I\u2019m just more aware of what everything means now. We experienced success on the first album but everything was so new to me.
