The BRIT Awards 2019 with Mastercard nominations were today announced on The BRITs are Coming TV special on ITV.<\/p>\n

Sony Music artists have received a total of 16 nominations across nine categories.<\/p>\n

George Ezra<\/a> has been\u00a0nominated for three – British Male Solo Artist, British Single and Mastercard British Album of the Year, crowning a remarkable 2018 in which his second album, Staying at Tamara\u2019s<\/em>, was the best-selling artist album of the year and his two singles \u2018Shotgun\u2019 and \u2018Paradise\u2019 made the Top 10 biggest singles of the year.<\/p>\n

Tom Walker<\/a> has two nominations – British Breakthrough Act and British Single in recognition of his platinum selling single \u2018Leave a Light On\u2019.\u00a0Voting for British Breakthrough Act is now open<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

After achieving the biggest-selling single of 2018, Calvin Harris<\/a> and Dua Lipa\u2019s \u2018One Kiss\u2019, has received two nominations in the British Single and British Artist Video of the Year categories.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Little Mix<\/a> have also been nominated for British Artist Video of the Year\u00a0for their collaboration with Nicki Minaj, \u2018Woman Like Me\u2019, as well as being nominated for British Group for the second time.\u00a0

Craig David has received a nomination for British Male Solo Artist \u2013 his fifth time in this category, while Sigala<\/a> and Paloma Faith\u2019s <\/a>collaboration on ‘Lullaby’ is also\u00a0up for British Single.

Clara Amfo made the announcements on the one-hour show, which included stunning performances from George Ezra, Little Mix and Not3s<\/a>.

Winners of the British Artist Video will\u00a0be determined by public vote which\u00a0will open on Monday 4th February 2019 and close on Friday 15th February 2019.<\/p>\n
